Dear Sir John and family,

My acquaintance with your dear departed wife, Lady Swan, began many years ago when she would bring your toddlers to the Peter Pan Nursery School at Admiralty House.

Our relationship continued when she joined Age Concern to enrich the lives of seniors through improved social and community services.

Her activism affected vulnerable seniors then; retired baby boomers are benefiting from her efforts and so will future cohorts of millennials when they retire.

We weep with you and your family at her going away from us, and pray that you will be uplifted by the hope that although her earthly presence is gone from us, another life begins — a life nearer to our Heavenly Father.
