My first taxi ride in Bermuda was in 1967. I have been taking them ever since and I can’t recall a bad experience.

That said, I took a taxi from Paget to the airport last week. It was by far the best taxi experience I’ve had.

The driver was courteous, he was careful, he gave way to walkers, bikers and other cars. His manoeuvring was top-notch.

I would definitely rate him as the best on island.
