Dear Sir,

With reference to the upcoming development plans for the Botanical Gardens, a protected national park, I wish to register my distress and frustration, upon realising our government is seriously proceeding with these actions against the wishes of its electorate.

While I sincerely believe decisions are usually taken with the best of intentions, in this instance I am concerned that a cascade of unintended consequences will be overtly generated by the present development choices, as described in recent communiques to the general public.

Please refer this issue to more cogently convincing minds for a thorough vetting and review of the facts. I am not convinced all available options have been explored.
