Dear Sir,

The following is a copy of a letter that has been hand-delivered to Government House for the attention of the new Governor, John Rankin:

Your Excellency,

As a concerned citizen of Bermuda, I must state my displeasure with your statement and your position in regard to same-sex unions or marriage.

Here in Bermuda, we do not condone or appreciate such behaviour and we do not want our children to be exposed to such disgraceful activity.

Sir, if this is your position in regard to this matter, I respectfully must ask the Queen to revoke your permit until you have had a better understanding of the true island of Bermuda.
