Preserve Marriage losing influence is a good thing

Dear Sir,

I am one to peruse the online version of your paper. I noticed an article from yesterday where Preserve Marriage noted its objection to domestic partnerships, calling it marriage by another name.

What was most interesting was that this article garnered only 21 online comments. In the past, these types of articles would get hundreds of comments.

This leads me to believe that Preserve Marriage is losing influence after its scandal where Bermuda found out that one of its leaders was leading a double, hypocritical life.

And, possibly, Bermudians, after six months of marriage equality, are noticing that the sky hasn’t fallen in.

This group is still dangerous but its power may be eroding. And that is a good thing.
