Dear Sir,

Another year has come and gone, and I reflect and wonder what kind of footprint did I leave.

Things undone, things predicted and accomplished. Supportive? Divisive? Promises kept? Homage paid and gratitude for my spirituality? Forgiveness?

Should one always expect to declare a dividend or balance the budget?

Surely the answers must be a resounding yes. Otherwise, one has to have been standing still.

What of the year to come? A rare second chance? A gift to try again?

Kinder? Listening with active understanding? Eye contact for sure? Accomplishments by changing things for the better and, most of all, to abide by the best slogan I have heard for many years:

“Make someday today”
