Thank you for helping me
I would like to thank all the kind people who so quickly assisted me this morning (February 20) when I tripped and fell on the sidewalk by the ferry terminal. I don’t know who fetched a chair and ice for the heavily bleeding nose, but thank you.
Thank you to the two people who helped me up into the chair.
I must especially thank the nurse, Ms Hayward, for her calm and efficient care and for driving me home. Ms Hayward also kindly collected my prescription glasses, key and purse from the sidewalk and kept them safe. I was too shaken to ask for her telephone number or address so that I could properly thank her.
Once again, I realise how fortunate I am to live in a country where people go out of their way to assist someone in need.
Thank you to all who assisted me.
