Dear Sir,

I continue to have a running battle with the Bermuda mail system and they’re winning, I very much regret.

I mailed a birthday card at the Warwick Post Office last Monday to my grandson, who lives in Southampton and whose birthday is today (March 5).

It hasn’t arrived yet. That’s one week. He is wondering why his “grammy” and “pappy” forgot his birthday. I send mail to the UK that gets there in four days sometimes. The distance between Warwick Post Office and my grandson’s house is a few miles, not a few thousand, as is the case between here and the UK.

Come on, post office. You can do better than this.
