Noriah is a fantastic ambassador for Bermuda
On the afternoon of Friday, January 31, I met one of Bermuda’s best ambassadors. While on the No 8 bus to Dockyard, the bus stopped for a lady passenger to exit at the stop by the Bermuda Institute.
A Bermuda Institute student helped the lady with her shopping bag. Then he held her hand to help her down. I was overwhelmed by this student’s kindness.
The student sat behind me. I told him he was the best ambassador for Bermuda. I just could not let their act of kindness go unnoticed and asked the student for his name.
Again at the Port Royal stop, he helped another passenger who had several grocery bags.
Noriah Xavier-Lee Bean is an ambassador for Bermuda. His family, school and Bermuda should be proud of him.
