MarketPlace adds two stores to pick-up service
Shoppers looking for a more relaxed shopping experience can now order groceries online and collect them at two more MarketPlace stores.
The company started the online ordering and pick-up service last year and has now added Modern Mart and Somerset MarketPlace to the service, which all ready includes its stores at Hamilton, Heron Bay and Shelly Bay.
“The MarketPlace online ordering and pick-up service continues to be a hit with our customers, and we’re excited to introduce the service to even more of our hard-working customers across the island. It’s just another way we’re making it even easier for more customers to enjoy more time on things that matter most in life, like family,” Seth Stutzman, president of The MarketPlace, said.
Customers can place their order via www.marketplace.bm, or through the mobile app, available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store by searching “MarketPlace Bermuda”, choose their preferred pick-up day and time at checkout.
The service is available for orders over $50, and there is a fee of $4.95.
The company said that on arriving at the store, customers park in the designated pick-up spot and a personal shopper will place groceries into their car within minutes.
Customers have access to more than 25,000 items in the MarketPlace inventory, can shop weekly deals and still enjoy five per cent off on Wednesdays.
New users will have their first order pick-up fee waived. Orders can be placed at any time and pick-up is available daily; 9am to 7pm Monday to Saturday, and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
