HSBC Bermuda staff lined the streets of Hamilton yesterday for the bank’s annual motorcade and Cup Match flag giveaway.

Bank employees, sporting red shirts, were handing out Somerset and St George’s flags to residents and tourists, and encouraging the public to wear their colours and get into the holiday spirit before the two-day cricket match on July 28 and 29.

The motorcade consisted of a large soca truck, dancers in carnival costumes and a line of cars.

Special guests included HSBC chief executive officer Mark Watkinson, St George’s Cricket Club president Neil Paynter, and Somerset Cricket Club president Alfred Maybury.
