Footballers will be showing off their talents for a good cause at an event at TN Tatem Middle School on Saturday.

All proceeds from the second annual Kacy Simons Hood 2 Hood event will go to children left fatherless due to gun violence.

It will include a 6-a-side tournament and a skills competition, as well as refreshments and other entertainment, starting at 11am.

Kacy Simons was a popular footballer for North Village Community Club in the 1980s and 1990s who died from cancer last December, aged 51.
