Traders raise funds for Tomorrow’s Voices

Traders taking part in last month’s holiday market in Dockyard showed the meaning of the holiday spirit by raising $700 for charity.

Each business taking part contributed $50 each — half the fee to take part — towards Tomorrow’s Voices, which helps people with autism, pervasive developmental disorders and other developmental delays.

“We are pleased to be able to help Tomorrow’s Voices and hopefully we’ll be able to repeat this event during the next Holiday Season,” Stephanie Rodill, West End Development Corporation’s marketing and events manager, said.

Those taking part included Brianna Croucher, of Bermuda Doodler, Barbara Finsness, of The Island Shop, Rebecca Martin, Jenna West, of Simply Well Bermuda, and Allison Simmons, of Ariel’s Home Bakery.

The other traders were Felicia DeRoza, of FRD Essentials, Diane Maughan, Kennita Perry, LaVarr Raynor, of 5 Star Gaming, Miranda Lister, of Just Nuts, Spencer Field and Kathleen Watts, of Field Hives & Honey and Keita Wilson, of Treats 4 Tykes, among others.
