The Bermuda Red Cross formed a collaboration with the Land Rover BAR Academy and Bermuda Football Association students yesterday to learn about water safety.

Working with Land Rover BAR, the Red Cross provided some of the BFA’s 22 sporting club students with an opportunity to meet the visiting Land Rover BAR Academy of British youth sailors and to experience first hand journeying out in a rib and learning more about safety.

Red Cross has been working with the Bermuda Football Association’s 22 sporting clubs for some time to provide training in the areas of first aid, CPR, AED and emergency training to ensure that the clubs are better prepared in times of emergencies, disasters or crises.

The students also got to enjoy some of the interactive exhibits in Land Rover’s exploration zone at the America’s Cup Village.
