A motorcyclist was injured in a two-vehicle collision on North Shore Road, Devonshire, yesterday morning.

Police and first responders were dispatched to the incident at about 11.40am.

According to police, it appears that the motorcyclist struck a car as the driver attempted to turn into Devonshire community field.

The injured rider, a 19-year-old Pembroke man, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance where he was treated and discharged later that day.

No other injuries were reported but both vehicles were damaged and traffic was diverted away from the area while collision investigators examined the scene.
