Ferries suspended

Flooding and wind damage at Shelly Bay (Photograph by Akil Simmons)

All ferry routes have been suspended until further notice due to bad weather.

This morning brought strong winds, rain and minor flooding across the island, and the Bermuda Government urged the public to use care and caution when travelling on the roads.

The Emergency Measures Organisation is monitoring the weather and the Bermuda Weather Service has warned gusts could reach hurricane-strength in elevated and exposed areas.
