Police have identified a man found dead near Church Bay as 62-year-old visitor Trevor Stuart Darks.

Mr Darks, a British national, was found in an unresponsive state on a grassy area near the Church Bay parking lot at 8.30am on Saturday.

He was later pronounced dead by an on-call doctor.

According to a police spokesman foul play is not suspected, but an autopsy is expected.

The spokesman added that a Family Liaison Officer has been assigned to help Mr Darks’s family.
