A new parish constable has been appointed for Southampton, it was announced today.

And Constable Krishna Singh said he planned to introduce himself to parish residents at a clinic tomorrow.

He said: “The purpose of this clinic is to meet and greet Southampton residents, where residents can share any concerns or problems in their area.

“It is also an opportunity to give security advice and promote the Neighbourhood Watch programme to residents or anyone who wishes to engage in conversation.”

Mr Singh took over the role from Cerepha Bridgeman, who has just been promoted to sergeant.

The clinic will be held at the Heron Bay MarketPlace, Middle Road, Southampton, from 11am to 2pm.
