Breath-test blitz for Pride weekend
Police are to launch a fresh blitz on drink-drivers with a series of roadside breath-test checkpoints at the end of the month.
A notice published in the Official Gazette yesterday said checkpoints would be set up between Friday, August 30 and Monday, September 2.
Police will man checkpoints in Hamilton Parish, Smith’s, Devonshire, Pembroke, Paget, Warwick and Southampton.
