Pie-eating contest and more Dockyard fun

Dockyard is gearing up for a fun-packed Fall Festival featuring local vendors and entertainers – and even a pie eating contest!

“We are staging the Destination Dockyard: Fall Festival on Sunday (October 20) and it’s going to be a really fun event with something for everyone,” said Stephanie Rodill, the West End Development Corporation’s Marketing and Events Manager.

Among the activities on offer will be giant games, fun castles, a ducking stool, pie and hot dog eating competitions and animal-rider machines.

Attendees will be able to sign up for the pie and hot dog eating competition for free at the event – there will be a prize for each winner. There will even be bonfires with free S’mores courtesy of PinkSand Entertainment!

The entertainment will include PowerGirl, DJ Keem, In Motion School of Dance and Pyrocraze Fire Dancers.

“We had a very successful summer season of Destination Dockyard and we think this will be a great event for locals and visitors,” added Ms Rodill.

The event is being organized with PinkSand Entertainment and sponsored by the Bermuda Tourism Authority. It takes place on Sunday on the North Lawn, Royal Naval Dockyard, from 4pm to 7pm. Clocktower Mall will be open until 6pm.
