The Green family has made a donation of $5,000 to the newly established Bermuda College Foundation.The Bermuda College Foundation, which recently put out a call for support, aims to raise funds to improve and modernise the facilities at Bermuda College.Established in 1974, Bermuda College is the only post-secondary educational institute on the island and offers a wide range of courses. Students can work towards associate degrees, certificates and diplomas, with some students able to transfer to colleges overseas to complete their education. Each year, approximately a thousand students take classes at the College. Ralph Richardson, Consultant for the Bermuda College Foundation, said: “We are grateful to the Green family for their generous donation. With their support and of all of those who help us, we aim to provide Bermuda’s public with a college that can provide a first-rate education on island.”Andrew Green, on behalf of the Green family, said: “We are glad to support the Bermuda College Foundation in their mission to modernise Bermuda College’s facilities.
