The public was asked yesterday to keep a lookout for a family pet missing since Tuesday.

Juno, a five-year-old black Labrador, left her new home in Devonshire, which her owners moved into less than a week ago.

Owner Elin Daniels said Juno was “loving and very friendly” but that she would probably be nervous if approached.

She added that food, especially dog treats, would help win Juno’s trust.

Ms Daniels said that although Juno was microchipped, she was not wearing a collar when she ran away. She added that a reward was available for anyone who provides information leading to the safe return of the pet to the family.

Anyone who sees the dog, which was believed to have been spotted near the National Stadium on Wednesday, can contact Ms Daniels’s husband Charlie Thresh on 333-2616.
