Man injured in Happy Valley shooting
A man was last night rushed to hospital after he was shot
A police spokesman said the victim, a 21-year-old Pembroke man, was shot in the shoulder.
The spokesman said police had received reports of gunshots in the Happy Valley Lane area of Pembroke shortly after 7pm.
He said: “Police arrived on the scene and confirmed a fire arms incident did occur, and a 21-year old suffered a gun shot to the shoulder.
“He was taken to hospital by a private vehicle and treated for his injuries. Police have appealed for witnesses.
