A Hamilton shoe store has closed its doors.

Connections Shoes, based at 5 Burnaby Street, staged the last day of its closing-down sale yesterday, according to its Facebook page.

Its owner, who also owns the Connections Boutique on Court Street, which remains open, declined to comment.

A post on the shoe store’s Facebook page yesterday, stated: “Connections Shoes on Burnaby Street is closing down ... all shoes and shades and accessories are 5.00, last day today.”
