Lindo’s discount days to run into next month
A supermarket chain is to continue to offer discounts three days a week until the end of next month.
Zach Moniz, the manager at the Lindo’s Group of Companies, said the discount days would shift this week to take into account the Cup Match holiday.
Mr Moniz added: “During this strange time, we recognise that many of our friends and neighbours are struggling with the effects of the global pandemic of Covid-19 — particularly those who work in the hospitality industry.
“At Lindo’s, we pride ourselves on putting the community first, which is why we have decided to extend our thrice weekly five per cent discount days until the end of August.
“To ensure that everyone is able to make the most of the discount this week, we will be offering it Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday before going back to Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from the first week in August.”
