Issa Rae, the star of HBO comedy hit Insecure, has sung Bermuda’s praises on social media after she flew to the island on Wednesday.She posted videos of the trip on Instagram yesterday, along with Bermuda’s Shiona Turini, the stylist and costume designer involved in the 2019 film Queen & Slim.Ms Rae, whose career was launched with the YouTube series Awkward Black Girl, is an author and producer who has appeared in music videos by artists from Pharrell Williams to Drake, as well as on television and in film.Ms Rae said Ms Turini was “our hostess” in one clip and added that a little rain had not dampened her fun.
