Dozens of young Bermudians gathered at Alaska Hall last night to voice their thoughts to the Progressive Labour Party.

Numerous PLP candidates including party leader David Burt, Wayne Caines, Dennis Lister III, Renée Ming and Diallo Rabain used the opportunity to chat with the attendees, answer questions and listen to their concerns.

Mr Burt said the event was aimed at encouraging young people to get involved in politics and learn where the PLP stand on issues that affect them, making sure there is real dialogue rather than just advertisements and posts on social media. “This election is just days away and the most important thing when people go to the polls is that they can make an informed decision,” he said.

Over the course of the evening, the attendees went from table to table, speaking to the various MPs and candidates about their concerns, including the status of the island’s education system.
