Few details on OBA ‘incident’

A complaint has been lodged over an alleged incident involving two One Bermuda Alliance party members, an OBA spokesman confirmed last night.

The spokesman said the complaint was “made by a party member who criticised the alleged behaviour of another party member”.

He said the complaint relates to an alleged incident that only the two involved persons were present for.

Details on who was involved, and when and where the alleged incident took place were not provided. The spokesman said the complaint was lodged on Tuesday.

He added: “We take all allegations very seriously, however we want to stress that this is not a party matter.”

A Bermuda Police Service spokesman confirmed that police were aware of the incident. He added: “We are looking into it.”

The OBA spokesman added that he could not comment further, as the matter has been refered to police.
