St George: election for councillor


An extraordinary municipal election will be held for the Corporation of St George to fill the seat of municipal residents’ councillor on June 20.

The election open just to residents of the municipality, is to choose the sixth councillors’ seat left vacant after the election last week.

It will be held at Penno’s Wharf cruise ship terminal, with registration closing at 5pm this Friday.

All election related information can be found at elections.gov.bm or by phoning 293-8683.
