Finance ministry housekeeping law to be debated

MPs are to debate housekeeping legislation for the Ministry of Finance today, as well as the Annual Report of the Bermuda College for 2018-19.

Among items on the Orders of the Day was the Criminal Injuries (Compensation) Amendment Act 2019, to be brought by Neville Tyrrell, a Progressive Labour Party backbencher.

The Royal Gazette understands that the Government may also seek to table legislation pertaining to medicinal cannabis.
