Swiss Re’s Georgios Toulkeridis is joining Bermudian-domiciled Everest Re Group Ltd.

He will take up the position of global head of aerospace reinsurance and will lead the development and execution of its underwriting strategy for aviation and space.

In addition he will support the company’s continental European team on various non-aviation areas.

Mr Toulkeridis has been managing director, head of aviation and space R/I at Swiss Re for the past five years. Previously he was at Hannover Re. He takes up his new position on October 1, and will be based in Everest’s office in Zurich, Switzerland.
