Axa XL has been named Bermuda Insurer of the Year by insurance industry publication Reactions magazine.This is the second time in three years that Axa XL’s Bermuda insurance team has received the award.The award was announced at Reactions’ North America Awards Dinner in New York.Patrick Tannock, chief executive officer of Axa XL’s Bermuda insurance operations, said: “It’s great to be acknowledged once again. The awards honour the achievements in the past year of underwriting companies, broking firms, service providers and individuals who help raise the standards across the re/insurance industry in North America.Reactions said: “The awards help firms to differentiate themselves from competitors and show their clients that they are a cut above the rest.”
