Richardson shines in Salinas
Kent Richardson he won the menís 50+ age group by just under two minutes at the 2018 Salud Xterra in Salinas, Ecuador on Saturday.
On a hot day under clear skies, Richardson produced the third fastest bike time of the day and was an impressive seventh male finisher out of 159 and eighth overall out of 191. Richardsonís training partner, professional triathlete Liz Bravo, was the top woman and fourth overall.
Richardson was also the first finisher out of the fifty 40+ competitors, completing the 800m swim in 16min 19sec, the 16km mountain bike in 39:37 and the 5km cross-country run in 33:56. for an overall time of 1:31:40.
