First Prev 1 2 Next Last

Mid-table teams BAA, St George’s Colts and Paget Lions were the big winners as three of the top four teams dropped points in the First Division.

BAA beat Southampton Rangers 4-1 with goals from Laquan Thomas, Jahkari Furbert, Shamouri Simons and a Tyrell Burgess penalty.

St George’s and Paget also closed the gap on the top four with comfortable victories.

St George’s thrashed Ireland Rangers 8-0 with Allan Douglas and Jahron Dickinson both scoring twice, with Douglas also netting a penalty, while Donovan Thompson was also among the scorers as the East Enders led 3-0 at the half. There was also an own goal.

Paget also led 3-0 at the half on their way to a 5-0 win over Hamilton Parish at Southampton Oval. Jahniya Richardson opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the twelfth minute before Jensen Rogers doubled the lead in the 27th minute.

Dion Stovell added the third before two late strikes by Y-Ron Astwood and Marco Piper in the 85th and 88th minutes.

Leaders Young Men’s Social Club were held to another 1-1 draw by St David’s.

Kontaicf Burton’s goal in the 52nd minute wiped out the lead given to unbeaten Social Club by Nique Armstrong in the 20th minute. X-Roads, second, missed the chance to close the gap on the leaders when their game at Garrison Field against Wolves did not go ahead because no officials showed up.
