Lambe scores but Carlisle concede late on

Lambe scored late on, but Crawley equalised even later

Reggie Lambe scored for Carlisle United in their 3-3 draw away to Crawley Town in Sky Bet League Two at the weekend.

Lambe completed a Carlisle fight back from 2-0 down when he netted in the 59th minute to give them a 3-2 lead. However, hopes of a win were dashed when Crawley found an equaliser two minutes into stoppage time through Jimmy Smith.

James Collins had put them 2-0 up midway through the first half after netting in the twelfth and 25th minutes before Carlisle replied in the 29th and 42nd through Jabo Ibehre and Jamie Proctor.

Lambe was substituted in the 88th minute, just minutes before Crawley snatched their equaliser. Carlisle are tenth in the table, one point adrift of the play-offs.

Meanwhile, Nahki Wells was an unused substitute for Huddersfield Town who lost 4-1 at home to Fulham in the Championship. The defeat saw Huddersfield slip to fifth in the table after Sheffield Wednesday beat Derby County 2-1 to move ahead of them.

However, they can climb back up to third tomorrow evening when they meet Wolverhampton Wanderers.
