The annual Samba Futsal Clinic, run by Footy Promotions, was held at the BAA Gymnasium last weekend.

Hosted by Brazilian Denison Cabral, the head coach of Harrisburg Heat — who play in the Major Arena Soccer League — the clinic was designed to compliment the outdoor skills of local players.

“Denison has been instrumental in the growth of futsal here in Bermuda,” Vinzie Zuill, the Footy Promotions president, said.

“His visions for the game align with Footy Force’s visions, which are benefiting local players and providing them with great opportunities and positive environments to play.

“The player’s that attended the clinic really impressed the coaches with their skills and confidence.”

Harlem Bean-Fox, nine, was selected by Cabral’s coaching staff to attend the Denison Cabral Futsal Academy in Baltimore, Maryland, for three days of coaching.
