Captain Angelo Simmons scored a hat-trick as Dandy Town closed out their season with a 5-2 win over Flanagan’s Onions on Thursday night at Goose Gosling Field. Omar Wilson gave relegated Onions the lead in the sixth minute before Simmons equalised in the 17th. It was all Town after that as Daeshun Butterfield gave them the lead for the first time in the 25th minute before two goals from Simmons in the 43rd and 45th minutes completed his hat-trick and put Town up 4-1.

Two late goals closed out the scoring, as Temiko Wilson made it 5-1 to Town in the 85th minute before Treshun Smith netted for Onions three minutes into injury time. Town finished the campaign in third place behind league champions PHC and Robin Hood.

In the opening First Division match Wolves beat Hamilton Parish 1-0 with Kyle Brangman scoring the lone goal in the fifth minute.
