Glory for BAA, Town and PHC

BAA, Dandy Town Hornets and PHC Zebras won the three Appleby Junior Knockout finals on Saturday at the National Sports Centre.

BAA took the Under-13 Division 2 title with a 2-1 win over PHC Whites. Ty Dunlop scored the opening goal in the first half for BAA, a neat left-footed shot over the goalkeeper. Sachiel Ming equalised for PHC before Tajai Goater scored late in the second half to give BAA the win. Dunlop and Ming were voted MVP for their respective teams.

Dandy Town were comfortable 4-1 winners over North Village Reds in the Under-13 Division 1 final. Kahzi Sealey scored twice for Town while Quayan Watson and Sekai Tatem added a goal each while Kenori Simons replied for Village. Sealey was the MVP for Town and Adio DeShields for Village.

Town were denied a second title when PHC blanked them 4-0 in the Under-15 final. Zakiyah Lee, the MVP, netted twice for the young Zebras while Nazye Matthie and Tyrique Smith had lone strikes. Zakai Wolfe was the MVP for Dandy Town.
