Blue Devils eager to arrive
The Oakville Blue Devils FC are looking forward to their tour of Bermuda next week as they prepare to open their 2018 season as champions of League 1 Ontario just a week later.
The semi-professional Blue Devils are eager to get in two preseason matches in Bermuda against both the Bermuda national team and a Premier Division All-Star Select team in the Bermuda Triangle Cup.
“We are very honoured and excited by the invitation and the opportunity to complete our preseason preparations in Bermuda,” said Duncan Wilde, the Blue Devils head coach.
“Our team will test itself against the Bermuda national team, together with the island’s Premier League All-Star team, in what will certainly be fiercely competitive games. It is the perfect way for us to prepare for the challenges of defending our League 1 title, together with the National Championship kick-off in early June.”
The Blue Devils will play the National Select on Thursday, April 19 at the National Sports Centre before taking on a Premier Division All-Star Select on Sunday, April 22 at Goose Gosling Field.
