Clemons hits screamer to earn Bodens draw
Willie Clemons scored from 25 yards late on to earn Bodens a point at home to Ostersund in the Swedish fourth-tier at the weekend.
Clemons, the Bermuda midfielder, found the top corner in the 87th minute to cancel out Lewis Whiteley’s 55th-minute opener. Bodens are fifth in the table.
“Hard work pays off. I’ve been working on my shooting from distance every day after practice and on my off days,” Clemons wrote on Twitter. “You are the only thing that can limit yourself. No limit.”
Bermuda defender William White helped Narpes Kraft end a run of four straight defeats, beating Kufu 98 4-1 at home at the weekend.
The win lifts Narpes off the bottom of the Finnish second division.
Zeiko Lewis, the Bermuda forward, played 78 minutes in FH’s home win over KA in the Icelandic top flight on Thursday. FH are third in the table.
