Rangers hammer Colts

Donte Brangman notched for Rangers

Jarazinho Bassett scored four and Cardel Henry three to guide unbeaten leaders Southampton Rangers to a 8-1 win over Devonshire Colts at Southampton Oval yesterday.

Also on target for Rangers was Donte Brangman. Colts pulled one back through Jahzion Talbot-Thomas late on.

Somerset Eagles also remain unbeaten after a 4-1 win over Wolves at Garrison Field. Anwar Telford scored a second-half hat-trick. Tahj Wade opened the scoring for Eagles before Lamont Brangman equalised for Wolves in the 49th minute. Telford then made certain of the points.

Hamilton Parish edged Flanagan’s Onions 4-3 at Goose Gosling Field. Shayne Hollis scored a brace including Parish’s winner in the 85th minute.

Jordan Burgess and Chris Caisey accounted for the visitors other goals while Anthony Rocker, with a penalty, Markel Laws and Paul Smith replied for Onions. St George’s beat Ireland Rangers 2-1 at Wellington Oval. Sage Paynter of St George’s scored one of the fastest goals of the season, netting after just 19 seconds. Sekai Proctor replied in the 30th minute before Paynter struck again in the 52nd. to secure the win.

Elsewhere, St David’s won 2-1 against Vasco. Kontai Burton scored cancelled out Nuno DaSilva’s opener. Stuart Wilson scored the winner in the 70th minute.
