Hope for the future: For the first time, Bermuda fielded an entirely Bermudian girls’ rugby team at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Nassau, Bahamas. The girls Under-18s sevens team finished sixth. “We hope that the experience will be just the beginning of a well-established girls’ rugby programme in Bermuda which will build on the progress made in recent years by the senior women’s rugby sevens team,” coach Erica McArthur said.
