Netballers head to Florida

The Bermuda Under-21 netball team will participate in the USA Under-21 International Development Series in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The tournament, which runs from July 21 to 26, is considered the top competition for emerging young players.

Danielle Raynor, a Bermuda player, and experienced local coach Merle Parfitt are both in Ghana teaching the game and helping the community as part of the Ace It Foundation.

The Ace It Foundation’s co-founders are Bermudian Quinton Sherlock Jr and Nicolo Catto.

Their mission is to empower young people in Ghana through education and sports.
