New league campaign looms
The new YAO Baseball Bermuda campaign is set to resume next month with anyone wishing to play urged to register immediately.
Opening day for the new campaign is Saturday, April 20, and will run through until June 29.
The programme will once again be split into five age-related leagues including T-Ball for ages 4-5; Rookie Minor for ages 6-7; Rookie Major for ages 8-9; Cal Ripkien for ages 10-12 and Babe Ruth for ages 13-16.
Practice will be held weekly with instruction included at every league level, including introductory sessions for T-Ball League. Matches will be played at Kindley Field in St Davidís.
Registration, which runs out soon, includes fees for each league. The T-Ball League costs $50; Rookie Minors is $75 and $120 for the remaining leagues, Rookie Major, Cal Ripken and Babe Ruth.Online registration can be found at www.yaobermuda.siplay.com.
