Carifta stars expected to shine at CCCAN

Bermuda have named their team of 16 to compete at the upcoming Central American and Caribbean Swimming Confederation Championships in Trinidad.

The 15 swimmers that brought back 39 medals from Carifta in Bahamas this year are all members of the CCCAN team, along with Shannon Hassell that missed Carifta to prepare for her IB exams.

The event will be held at the National Aquatic Centre, Balmain Couva in Trinidad from June 28 to July 2.

The championships will kick off a busy summer that includes Commonwealth Youth Games in Bahamas, Fina world championships in Budapest and Fina world junior championships in Indianapolis.

The team will be accompanied by national coaches Ben Smith and Richard Goodwin along with team Manager Allison Watson-Brown and team chaperone Rebecca White.

13-14: Skyler Powell, Logan Watson-Brown, Gabriela Pitman, Keagan Woolley, Brian Desmond.
