The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged on a day of no trading activity on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.

While Butterfield Bank remained unchanged at $33.75 on the BSX, the banks US-listed shares fell 47 cents, or 1.4 per cent, to close on $33 on the New York Stock Exchange.

The BSX Insurance Index gained 5.52 points, or 0.3 per cent, to close on 1,862.75.
