The Bank of Butterfield was at $32.50 after 107 shares traded.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank dropped 1 cent, or 0.03 per cent, to $33.49.

Bermuda Press (Holdings), the parent firm of The Royal Gazette, remained at $9 after 1,000 shares sold.

Shipping company Polaris Holding remained at $4.75 after 5,000 shares changed hands.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 18.95 points, or 1 per cent, at 1,872.09.
