A driver is believed to have escaped unscathed from a car that crashed outside the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo this evening.

The accident took place at about 6.10pm on North Shore Road in Flatts and resulted in the vehicle being left on its side in the middle of the road.

A police spokesman later confirmed that no injuries had been reported by 7.20pm.
