Follow the law

July 23, 2013Dear Sir,For Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner to say “not having a shirt on cannot be considered an offence” is bewildering to me. I thought it was against the law to go shirtless on Bermuda’s public streets, but I guess these types of “old fashioned laws” are now obsolete. Therefore I assume that should a woman appear in a public place without a shirt, she would also be allowed to do so. So come on all you fat, hairy, big-bellied men, throw off your shirts and walk the streets of Hamilton with pride! As for the ladies, burn your bras girls and let it all hang out, because Mr Warner says it’s fine to do so!JC SIMPSONSt David’s
