A 79-year-old woman was injured in a three-vehicle collision in Paget at 11.45am on Wednesday.

The woman was driving a car along South Road, near the junction with Lovers Lane, when it struck a taxi and truck being driven in the opposite direction, according to police.

She was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, and was yesterday said to be in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit. All three vehicles were damaged, but no other injuries were reported.
